Welcome to Bright in Boxes. The following terms apply to the use of this website, including the purchase of gifts and hampers.

Bright in Boxes prides itself on delivering quality gifts and hampers in the best condition to our customers and their recipients.
If a customer is not happy with their order, for whatever reason, we will gladly replace it or refund their money in full.
In the event of a product not being available, we will replace it with another similar item of equal or greater value.

Returns & Refunds

We stand by the quality of our products, but if for any reason you are unhappy with your gift, or in the unlikely event it arrives damaged, please contact us
as soon as possible on 0800 697 737 or email info@giftideas.co.nz and we will make arrangements for the gift to either be replaced or refunded.
Refunds can only be made back to the credit card that was used for the original purchase. Approved refunds can take 2-3 business days to be completed.

Consumer Guarantee Act

All purchases from our site are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which guarantees that any goods purchased for personal use
may be returned, if they are considered faulty, for repair, replacement or refund of purchase price, within a reasonable period of time as defined by the Act.

Privacy

We are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. When you place an order on our website, we'll ask for some personal information,
such as your contact details, email address, phone number and the contact details of the recipient.
Your email and any other information you supply will only be used to contact you about your order, for the purpose of processing your order and
arranging delivery.
Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third party for any purpose, except when we are required or authorised by law, to do so.
We will not hold your personal information for longer than is required for the purpose for which it is collected.
We will ensure that security safeguards protect the information and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that information
will not be disclosed to any unauthorised person or organisation.

Your credit card details are encrypted directly through a secure server and are not held by us. Your information is only stored long enough as is
necessary to complete your transaction. We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to
Paypal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

We may also collect personal information about you, when you register for an online account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
of your account and should take all necessary steps to ensure your password is kept confidential and secure.
If you choose to subscribe to and receive our newsletter, we will at times inform you of specials, promotions and offers via emails
or a newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive these, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter or contact us.

Your Order

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars and include GST, excluding delivery, unless otherwise stated. Delivery options are selected at checkout.
We remain the owner of the product we supply to you until we have received payment in full.

We cannot sell or supply alcohol to people under the age of 18 years. It is illegal to buy liquor when under the age of 18 and it is also
illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor. Please refer to our Liquor Licence information.

Delivery

Delivery will be deemed to have been made when your order is left at the address nominated in your order, or the courier has left a 'Card to Call'
at the address. If you are concerned about a delivery not being left in a suitable place, please advise us that the gift is not to be left. 

We always endeavour to ensure your purchase leaves us in good condition. Please contact us immediately if the goods have been damaged in transit.

If you have selected a specific delivery date, we will do our best to ensure it arrives on time. However we cannot be held liable for late delivery due
to unforseen circumstances, such as being unable to access an apartment block or there being no safe access -eg.a dog.

We will re-deliver the product if we have incorrectly addressed the item, but we cannot take responsibility for an incorrect address supplied by you.
We do however, make every effort to ensure your delivery details are sufficient and correct, if they have not been entered correctly at checkout.
